You must purchase any insurance package or plan that includes cancellation
insurance at the time of initial travel deposit or the initial payment
date for your trip must be within 48 hours of the application date
for any travel insurance policy that covers cancellation and interruption.
If you have not booked the travel insurance within 48 hours of the
initial payment date we can still book the travel insurance for
you; in this case your travel insurance policy will have an endorsement
stating that in not circumstance the travel insurance policy respond
to losses or claims which arose prior to the date of issue. In order
to book the travel insurance for you we need the fallowing information:
• Trip Start Date
• Trip End Date
• Initial Trip Payment Date
• Total cost of the trip per person.
• Billing address
• Name & Date of birth for each passenger
• Telephone
Yes. You can purchase emergency medical family coverage and save.
This means your children are insured when they travel with you,
or join you during your trip.
Due to unexpected circumstance you might need to cancel your trip
(you or a relative become sick, lose your employment, etc). Cancellation
and Interruption insurance covers you for those risks and protects
your financial investment. It also protects you if you need to go
back home because of an emergency such as a family member becoming
seriously ill at home, while you are away.
You may pay a slightly higher premium for travel insurance, depending
on your age and health problems. Your premiums and coverage will
be determined according to your answers to a medical questionnaire.
You may not be covered for pre-existing health conditions you have
prior to your departure on your trip.
Your travel insurance policy includes the terms of your travel insurance
Package or Plan. As with any insurance, some of those terms may
limit the benefits payable to you, so it's in your best interest
to be familiar with the policy. Also, please remember to take the
policy, along with your policy number, with you on your trip so
you can refer to it if necessary.
Travel insurance coverage offers by credit cards is very limited;
emergency medical coverage on a lot of cards stops at a certain
age or duration of your trip, credit cards seldom cover trip cancellation
and interruption. Call your credit card company to confirm coverage
they offer.
Group plans seldom cover cancellation, interruption or lost baggage.
Group plans may have limitation on the maximum amount covered for emergency medical expenditures and there might be a lifetime maximum limited as well.
